Curiosity drives my need to travel. My need to understand the world outside the parameters of my newsfeed, and the perceptions of my acquaintances. This understanding, rooted in my own real experiences, will shape my worldview. A worldview that says the world isn't f*cked. Not in the way Trump, or May, or Dutton may sell it to us anyway. They may attempt to cultivate my fear by feeding me mistruths, to divide the world into 'us' and 'them', to ultimately control my behaviour as a pawn in their consumer-driven societies.
